Jonathan Thornton visited me in Hackney for an interview he transcribed in its entirety for Fantasy Faction. I treated him to warm gozleme on Broadway Market and then coffee in the battered armchairs of Edgars. His transcription captures every molecule of caffeine in my brain. Our discussion ranged over my three SF novels and their connection to my book on camping. It can be read here.
Terrific interview.
I read the 2007 version of The Red Men. Are there significant changes in the 2013 and 2017 versions? You mentioned that you carried on writing parts after you had finished the 2007 version. Were those parts included in later versions?
Hi Pete,
The 2013 and 2017 versions are the same.
In 2013, I went back and subjected the manuscript to a line-by-line edit. My reasoning for doing so was explored in a series of blog posts. http://www.harrybravado.com/the-red-men-edit/stale-commentaries/

There is no significant new material as such.
