I’m writing a series of interconnected science fiction stories called ‘The Destructives’. The first will be published in March 2014 by Arc, the longform SF and futuristic tablet publication from the New Scientist. I write to music, using it as a way of cueing in the state of mind required for the story. I put this mixtape together for Australian magazine The Lifted Brow, culled from the three hour-or-so Destructives playlist.
