I will be talking about the Kindred of the Kibbo Kift and their connection to Sussex and the Long Man of Wilmington at a new Brighton club and culture night inspired by nature, The Hedgerow Society. It will be my first reading from my forthcoming book The Art of Camping: The History and Practice of Sleeping Under the Stars. The event takes place across three rooms and is on the January 21st at the Basement in Brighton 8pm-1am. £5.
The night also includes a screening of The Moon and the Sledgehammer, a 1971 cult documentary film about a Sussex family living in the woods and cut off from the outside world.
